Nice job! I really like this. It has a nice contemporary feel to it. Catchy and fun.

You finished this song nicely man.  I’m hoping I can come visit soon.

Very sweet tune. Right now, it feels like it drags on a little bit… Upping the temp as far as you can (without doing more harm than good) could really help bring it out of slow/mid-tempo and into up-tempo. More engaging.

Otherwise, love the verses, love the images and scenery!

Solid tune that I could hear on today’s pop country radio if produced the right way.  I can also hear it staying more traditional too.

I also like the imagery you used.  “We’ll sip chardonnay as the light melts away with Lyle on the stereo “….  Seems like all today’s hit songs go right to tailgates, cutoff jeans, girl you’re looking good, etc.

You avoid the typical images and keep the song about spending time with someone, enjoying a drive and forgetting about lifes problems.

Really good tune!

Very nice, love the visions that appear in my head as I listen, very soothing & romantic, every girl’s dream man singing it to her wink

Come Away With Me Tonight

Written by George Irwin

Let's go down to the lake, sit by the fire and watch the sun go down
C'mon let's take a break, go for a ride and get the hell out of town
We'll sip chardonnay as the light melts away with Lyle on the stereo
We'll be counting the stars in a world that's ours and letting everything else go

There's a million things I need to do, but I can't get my mind off of you

Come away with me tonight, get closer by the fire light
Some time alone would be just right
Come away, come away with me tonight

Let's trade the grind for a view and cruise on out to the green hills and timber
Turn off the news, turn up the music and open the windows

Yeah, there's a million things we can do, and I can't get my mind off of you

Come away with me tonight, get closer by the fire light
Some time alone would be just right
Come away, come away with me tonight

BREAK

REPEAT CHORUS
