About This Song

I wrote this song about a very rough time in my life. I also wrote it for other people to hear who have ever felt the same way. I want my music to be something that helps people get through the rough times in life.

Tatum,

I like the lyrics and melody of the song a lot. I think the vocals were wonderful and very emotional, which is what this song definitely needs! The only problem I have is with the accompaniment. I feel like the piano needed to be higher in some parts, like the chorus, maybe even with a slightly less diminished sound. I might even rewrite the accompaniment piece altogether for a more complicated sound instead of just chords, if that makes sense. But some of my dislike of it may have been due to the fact that the piano really needs tuned. Haha. Either way, great job!

No More Sorrow

Written by Tatum Tyree

Is it all you thought that life was?
Is it more than you and I?
Could it be the cure for sorrow or is it just one last goodbye?
'Cause I think it's fucking madness
And it's ruining you...I can not take another heart break, can not tell another lie

But I'm fine, I'm doing fine.

Well we start off at a young age and we further through the times
And we get caught up in sex and drugs and feel the need to hide
all our insecurities beneath make-up and a smile, it only takes a couple pills for you to end your worthless life

But I'm fine, I'm doing fine.

I'm fine, I'm doing fine
I'm fine, I'm fine, I'm doing fine
I'm fine, I'm doing fine
I'm fine...

I'm. Not. Fine...
I'm really not fine.
