Last night I had a dream that seemed so real
About a man who had invented a miracle pill
Said it’ll cure every disease - fix every disability
The world is gonna be completely healed

Then a young man in a wheel chair stilled the crowd
When he raised his hand said sir can I speak now
He looked fresh off the farm - ‘cept for a tattoo on his arm
I could read through the scars Army Proud

Then he said
I’ve been tested and questioned “Why me Lord”
And some things are a challenge that’s for sure
But I believe God uses problems – cause everybody’s got ‘em
To show the world that love is how we heal
Love is the real - miracle pill

Then he said I don’t believe God makes mistakes
And there’s a reason for each being He creates
That’s about when I woke up - started thinkin’ about the stuff
Like everybody does that keeps us awake

I’ve been tested and questioned “Why me Lord”
And some things are a challenge that’s for sure
