About This Song

Not really sure what genre this song should be in. It's about that person that we all know who has so much talent but is too shy to share it with the world because for whatever reason they lack the confidence in themselves to ever try!

Hi Stephen, I think this is a song which may fit into the Americana or Singer/Songwriter genre.  I like the vibe, the melody, the catchy chorus. The lyric is a bit too vague, tell us what she’s good at, what she dreams of and why she doesn’t believe in herself. Maybe she is a good singer or actor but she doesn’t dare to leave her hometown or something like that. I don’t have a clear picture of that girl and what’s going on with her.

(Verse)
Red hair, not enough weight
a little B-side but she's still great
little awkward, a little shy
little bit of love missing from her life
she never even stood a chance
grew up in a world of cants
with a teardrop in her eye

(Chorus)
It breaks my heart
That this bird wont fly
when she's got beautiful wings
but she's afraid to try

(Verse)
Kinda tall cant sit still
she loves video games and likes to chill
but when she's nervous she talks a lot
she don't know she don't have to stop

(Chorus)

(Bridge)
Ya she's better than she knows
and it's not right
all the pain she wont let go
and it's a fight
thats deep down inside
nut that don't mean that she cant fly

(Chorus)
To be a bird that can fly,
to be a bird that can fly, oh oh

(Verse 1)
