After years in the US Military and after military service searching for a place where my wife and I to settle down I wrote this song!
I would appreciate feedback on the music and lyrics!

(INTRO)
Can you hear those old hymns
Coming from that church on the hill
And smell the honeysuckle
Growing on that fence in the field
The dew on the grass
Sure sparkles when the sun hits the ground
And with those whippoorwills singing
This seems like a good place to settle down
We know where we've been
And how it's felt every time
That we've settled someplace
But never felt satisfied
(CHORUS)
So tell me does this feel like a place
You could settle down
Or just another stop in the road
Before we head to some other town
Cause darling sooner or later
The roads gonna end
And hopefully in some place
That a feel like home again
(INST)
These people sure are friendly
And this place is as pretty as can be
That house over there
Looks like it was made for you and me
Did you see that waterfall
We passed just outside of town
Lord I bet the winters here
Look just like Santa's playground
Of all the places we've seen
From the roads that never end
Tell me do you feel in your heart
That this could feel like home again
(CHORUS)
