When I was just a boy
My father said look see
You clean up all your vegetables

Well the years went by and I grew a stretch

I came up to my daddy’s chest

Well even though I’m now six foot some
And daddy’s down below
I know he was a better man
But how, I just don’t know

But I do know that he lived a good, full life

Then I finally realized he meant
