Hi Sam, I think you are on a good way here. I like this ghost idea, it’s original and I don’t mind that you keep it a little vague, I think that is common in the Pop genre. Cool song!

I think you’ve hit the nail on the head with a modern production sound and I really love your voice, Sam. I think this song fits more into a pop genre, than country. Not sure what genre you were hoping to place it in. But, as far as the lyrics go. Who is the ghost? That’s my main question. You seem to be asking a spirit about your life, but not sure where the connection is between you and the ghost. I really like the melody and music. Just not sure about the lyrical storyline.
