The song "Jesus Ways" tells a story of two men crossing paths. One of the men soon reveals himself to be Satan, as he is blaspheming God and saying that destruction is coming and that no one can be spared. The singer is the other man, a believer in Christ, who denies the devil's lies and temptation. The song is a testament to the power we have over the enemy.
I wanted to illustrate how the devil's always in the background trying to influence one's soul. However when you believe in a higher power the temptation of evil is just not possible.
I would like feedback on the overall song, it's probability for placement and if any it's hit potential.
Wow, awesome song Tre! I love your guitar work and your vocals are amazing! The chord changes for the prechorus and throughout the song are really cool and powerful. I can’t say that I understand exactly what your lyrics mean, and I am a Christian.

Verse 1
Heard a rumor yesterday from a fella dressed in red
He said evil's on the way hope and faith will soon be dead
Pre-Chorus
Say Mr. Mister where'd you get your information is it true?
Who are you?
Chorus
You must be the devil tryin’ to fill the Lord's shoes
You keep comin' round bringing us Christians blues
Doing all you can to test our faith
But we’re too grounded in our Jesus ways, we’re living praise
Verse 2
I said stranger what's your game have you traveled here before?
He said no I’m just an angel in offense of heaven’s law
Pre-Chorus (Entended)
Say Mr. Mister where'd you get your information
All these rumored words of Satan admiration can’t be true
I just have one question who are you?
Chorus
You must be the devil tryin' to fill the Lord's shoes
You keep comin' round bringing us Christians blues
Doing all you can to test our faith
But we’re too grounded in our Jesus ways, we’re living praise
Bridge
Satan so take your demons go
We don’t want evil we have Jesus
Our hero…
Chorus
You must be the devil tryin' to fill the Lord's shoes
You keep comin' round bringing us Christians blues
Doing all you can to test our faith
But we’re too grounded in our Jesus ways, we’re living praise
End Chorus (Vamp)
Our Jesus ways our Jesus ways
We’re living praise
Our Jesus ways our Jesus ways
That’s who we are
We’re living praise
We’re grounded in our Jesus ways

Hi Tre, your song is well structured, the individual sections are well separated and it feels good from beginning to end. I like the foreplay and interlude that’s a nice musical hook. Overall it’s a nice song, but for the current pop market it may sound a bit dated.
I can’t do much with the lyric, it seems too abstract and unworldly to me, but I’m not so familiar with the Christian music market, so I don’t want to judge the lyric. Good luck!
