About This Song

From my hook book; light romantic, nothing deep at all.

Hi Kirk,  I like the hook, nice wordplay.
I think if you produce this one really well, you could get more out of it. I like this western style bass run at the end of the chorus. Well done.

Mississippi Miss

Written by Richard Kirk

MISSISSIPPI MISS
She came from Pascagoula lips like honeydew
Blew into Tennessee last October, beneath a harvest moon
Sister said I had to meet her, introduced her to me
Now she’s all I can think about, my red hot delta queen
She’s my MISSISSIPPI MISS
With a smile that sets me flyin’
Got a sweet magnolia kiss
She’s my MISSISSIPPI MISS
Last night I took her to my favorite watering hole
She impressed my friends so much, they thought I’d struck gold
She lit up the dance floor, like a stick of dynamite
All the guys around put their bottles down, could not believe their eyes

CH
She mesmerizes me with that drawl
It’s so easy to see how I could fall for my
