About This Song

My wife took this picture of me with Tim Buppert, the singer and producer of the song, as we found him performing last year in Port Saint Joe, FL.

My cousin asked me to write a song for a friend of hers, who had just lost her daughter suddenly in a car accident. So, I tried to imagine the horror of the sudden loss of my wife, Julie, and came up with this song. I feel Tim Buppert did an outstanding job, both in terms of producing this song, as well as performing the vocals. I'm not sure this song is appropriate for a mother/daughter loss, but again, I like what Tim did with it.

Hi Jack, you are right, Tim did a great job!
The subject of death and loss of a loved one is very emotional and is therefore often used in songs. Your lyrics aren’t bad, but I have the feeling I have heard that in similar words a dozen times before. I’m missing something original. Have you listened to Brent’s hit song ‘Monday Morning Church’? It’s the same topic, but the story is told in a very original way that’s why it is was cut by Alan Jackson.

Beautiful, touching song. Makes me remember deceased loved ones. I can tell the song comes from a real place. For some reason, I feel the title should be “Endless With Me” instead of “Endlessly With Me” because it makes better sense to me.

ENDLESSLY WITH ME

Written by Jack Speer

written by Jack Speer, production and vocals by Tim Buppert

WHEN THEY TOLD ME YOU WERE GONE,
IT WAS MORE THAN I COULD TAKE,
I SAID, “IT’S A BIG MISTAKE!”

I THOUGHT I’D PROVE THEM WRONG,
YOU’D WALK THROUGH MY DOOR,
LIKE MANY TIMES BEFORE.

AS DENIAL WAS WEARING THIN,
I FOUND MY PEACE WITHIN,
IT’S WHAT I FIND, IN MY MIND.

I CAN STILL SEE YOUR FACE,
I CAN STILL HEAR YOUR VOICE,
AND IN MY MEMORY, YOU WILL ALWAYS BE,
ENDLESSLY WITH ME.

EVEN NOW IN MY ROUTINE,
I’M FOREVER CHANGED,
NOTHING STAYS THE SAME.

I’M SOMEWHERE IN BETWEEN,
SICK AND FEELING WELL,
HEAVEN AND HELL.

AND WHEN I’M FEELING LOW,
IT COMFORTS ME TO KNOW,
WHAT I CAN FIND, IN MY MIND,

I CAN STILL HEAR YOUR LAUGHTER
I CAN STILL FEEL YOUR TOUCH,
IN MY MEMORY, YOU WILL ALWAYS BE
ENDLESSLY WITH ME.

SOMETIMES YOU’LL VISIT ME,
I NEVER KNOW WHERE OR WHEN,
I ONLY KNOW IT MAKES ME SMILE,

AND IF THOSE MOMENTS,
COULD BE TRANSFORMED TO LIGHT,
YOU’D SEE ME GLOW FOR MILES.

I CAN STILL FEEL YOUR SOFTNESS,
I CAN STILL TASTE YOUR KISS,
AND IN MY MEMORY, YOU WILL ALWAYS BE,
ENDLESSLY WITH ME.
