This is a story of a girl who grew up going to church and people always telling her to have faith, one day she realized it took more than faith but action with that faith to make things better.
Better ways of tying the story together, a more diverse chord progression for the verse maybe? Thoughts in general.
Here is another link of a live version from a performance, the lyrics were rearranged and it won’t let me change the current version- looks like I uploaded the scratch version!

She was an ordinary sinner far from a saint
Like everybody else no matter what they claim
searching for redemption trying to find her way
She said an our father, hail mary too ,
with a devil on her shoulder telling her what to do
one thing is certain one thing is right
saying her prayers won't save her tonight
She Covers up her scars with lipstick and lace
Hoping she can hide what the mirror has to say
then she picks up that glass bottle and drowns it all away

I think the lyric sheet you have on here is different than what you’re singing, but it’s hard to tell because of the production. Is it possible to re-record with your voice maybe being a little closer to the mic? I love the rhythm of the song though.
