When he says my x-wife, i cringed like, no don’t bring her up. ahh, good just made want to tell that guy, don’t say it.

I like it. The word cummerbund didn’t read well, but the singer did a nice job with it.

I like the ending spinning it around. From the x to her saying she doesn’t care about the money. I like this one.

Take Me For A Fool

Written by Tony True

Take Me For A Fool

Verse 1
Yes I hear the bridal march outside
And I realize that it's bad luck to see the bride
So before I put on my cummerbund and bow
Are you a fool darling, I need to know

Verse 2
Now don't you look at me like I have gone insane
Give your future husband a chance to explain
You know my ex-wife had the common sense you see
To make me the jester and her the queen bee

Chorus
She took me for a fool
She took me for the car, the house and the pool
And she took away all my love and happiness
But most of all she took me for a fool

Verse 3
Now to be a fool really doesn't bother me
Cause to fall in love a fool one has to be
So before we take our wedding vows today
Repeat these words I need to hear you say

Chorus
I'll take you for a fool
I don't care about the car, the house or the pool
And I'll give to you all my love and happiness
If you will take me for a fool

Chorus
And I'll take you for my fool
I don't care about the car, the house or the pool
And I'll give to you all my love and happiness
If you will take me, darling please take me
Baby please take me for a fool
