Just a story....where a man with a job on the road has a bigger responsibility at home than leaning to temptation on the road. Most don't get the twist. I think I might need to make it more clear?
How to clarify that I'm talking about his daughter at home, not a wife or lover.

White Flip Flops
Writers: Kay Williams Mott/Mark Dolin
8 o’clock , neon’s shinin’ at the truck stop San Antone
Stale honeybuns, coffee smells like it’s three days old
Girl got it going on with the jeans too tight
I don’t need no black heels hangin’ round me tonight
Chorus
White flip flops are waitin’ at home for me
She’s headin’ back to the window for another look and see
Her rubber soles clicking up and down and they ain’t gonna stop
My (little) girl’s waitin’ for me in white flip flops
There’s a rack of sunglasses at the end of the aisle
Trying on every pair, she looks at me and smiles
That’s when I coulda made a move and I woulda on another day
I say hello and keep moving and I’m on my way
Chorus
White flip flops are waitin’ at home for me
She’s headin’ back to the window for another look and see
Her rubber soles clicking up and down and they ain’t gonna stop
My (little) girl’s waitin’ for me in white flip flops
My blue eyed dynamo’s eighty miles down this road
Her long hair tied in braids, red polish on her toes
Chorus
In white flip flops she’s waitin’ at home for me
She’s headin’ back to the window for another look and see
Her rubber soles clicking up and down and they ain’t gonna stop
My (little) girl’s waitin’ for me in white flip flops
White flip flops
My girl’s waitin’ for me in white flip flops
My girl’s waitin’ for me in the white flip flops
