Hi, Joseph!  I love your voice, the groove, the harmonies, really pretty much the whole song. Only question I have concerns who is the “you” in the song?  I get that there’s a protest coming about, but I’m not sure what or who they’re protesting. Just food for thought. Maybe a little more detail i.e., “tried to take our guns” or paying taxes we’ll never get back. I’d like to know what was done to evoke the revolution.

Great job!!!

Joseph! Nice song brother, I really dug the groove and the smooth vocals! I thought the lyrics were really good though I do have to agree with Kristina Bandina regarding would like to know a little more detail to the story. Other than that I really enjoyed it. I also really liked the quality of the recording, the acoustic guitar sounded great and the vocals were nice and clear. Definitely want to listen to more of your music when I have some more time! Very cool stuff

Redneck Revolution

Verse 1:
You think that we are gonna stand by and watch you take our country
I know a few ol’ boys that would say, no siree
I know they’d have a few plans of their own

Chorus:
Come on y’all fire up your trucks and drive on through while the rest get stuck
And meet me down by the riverside
Fly your flags and say your prayers
Don’t tread on us, naw we ain’t scared
We got the good lord on our side
Oh the redneck revolution starts tonight

Verse 2:
We won’t sit here and let you try to change it all, it states real clear
We’ve got our rights and all our freedoms
Like Paul Revere, it’s time to saddle up and make our midnight ride

Chorus:
Come on y’all, fire up your trucks and drive on through while the rest get stuck
And meet me down by the riverside
Fly your flags and say your prayers
Don’t tread on us, naw we ain’t scared
We got the good lord on our side
Oh the redneck revolution starts tonight

Bridge:
Yeah we’re gonna take it back
Yeah you hear us, that’s a fact
We’re all standing up to you
Come on y’all know what to do

Chorus:
Come on y’all, fire up your trucks
And drive on through while the rest get stuck
And meet me down by the riverside
Fly your flags and say your prayers
Don’t tread on us, naw we ain’t scared
We got the good lord on our side
Oh the redneck revolution starts tonight
