from my hook book, a title I've had for a while. This time I've included lyrics. Sorry. song about a singer whose new love is taking off swiftly and he wonders if its gonna last.
Where I want to get with this is having the singer KNOW that this love is going to last, at least as much as one can say that. So there's no doubt in his mind. Which leads to saying the hook differently maybe Concrete not on sand, or something.

CONCRETE OR SAND
You and I’ve ignited quite a spark
In no time at all you’ve captured my heart
But we’ve been going faster than the speed of sound
So who knows how long this love will be around
Will this house that we’re building
Be strong enough to stand?
Guess there’s no way of knowing
If it’s on CONCRETE OR SAND
A firm foundation helps a love survive
Keeps a howling wind at bay time after time
Brick by brick construction’s gonna last
Without that the floods of life will make it crash
CH
We’ve climbed up the ladder of desire
Can’t see how we’d ever get much higher
It’s not the first time I’ve used hammer and nails
I should know by now what’s gonna work or fail
