About This Song

The song is about someone who has a problem saying I love you to his girl but somehow manages it near the end of the song.It is a song that would probably be better watched as a live performance because of the interaction by the two vocalists.I felt the studio did a great job with the varying tempo of the song.

Hi Barry… you are now officially the Andrew Lloyd-Webber of our group, or maybe is he the Barry Guy of London? LOL

Nice song… once the opening verse was out of the way the girl got into the vocal. I would of had her redo the opening verse as she was unsure and her voice quivered and hit a weak note or two. But when the two singers started the interaction is was just super.

I certainly agree that the studio produced this wonderfully… wouldn’t change a thing.

HI Robert,
Many thanks for your feedback ....again.
I`m really glad you liked this song as it is more about melody than a journey, so to speak.
This is part of a musical and the journey of the song is in the previous scenes where the young man had his problems, building up to him sorting them out.
I had to ask the female vocalist to re-do her part in a softer version and maybe that`s why she sounded unsure.
Many thanks Barry

SOMEHOW

(FEMALE VOCALIST)
WE GROW UP WITH FEELINGS THAT MAY HOLD US BACK
THERE`S SOMETIMES A WORD LEFT UNSAID
JUST FOLLOW YOUR HEART AS IT SHOWS YOU THE WAY
USE THE WORDS THAT ARE IN YOUR HEAD

(MALE VOCALIST)
IT`S ONLY A WORD, IT`S ONLY A SOUND
I`LL PRACTISE IT FIRST, WHEN NO ONES AROUND
IT`S EVERYDAY TALK, A NATURAL WALK
IT`S PART OF ROMANCE, SO NOW IS MY CHANCE

(FEMALE VOCALIST
NOW AND AGAIN ALONG COMES A DAY
TO SAY WHAT YOU FEEL
NOW AND AGAIN ALONG COMES A TIME
TO TREAT THIS AS REAL
I`M SAYING TO YOU THAT YOUR TIME HAS COME
AND I WANT YOU TO KNOW RIGHT NOW
I LOVE YOU TO BIT`S AND YOU NEED TO TELL ME SOMEHOW, SOMEHOW

(MALE VOCALIST)
IT`S ONLY A WORD, IT`S ONLY A SOUND
I`LL SAY IT TO YOU, WHEN YOU ARE AROUND
IT`S EVERYDAY TALK, A NATURAL WALK
IT`S PART OF ROMANCE, SO NOW IS MY CHANCE

EACH DAY I FEEL, LIFE`S GOT TO BE REAL
DAYS GO OH SO FAST, TRY TO MAKE THEM LAST

(MALE VOCALIST)
ALL THINGS I GIVE TO YOU EVERY DAY
ARE JUST A SMALL PART
THE WORDS THAT I USE I PROMISE TO YOU
COME RIGHT FROM MY HEART
I`M SAYING TO YOU THAT MY TIME HAS COME
AND I WANT YOU TO KNOW RIGHT NOW
I LIVE YOU TO BITS AND AM TRYING TO TELL YOU SOMEHOW, SOMEHOW

(FEMALE VOCALIST)
EACH DAY I JUST FEEL, LIFE`S GOT TO BE REAL
DAYS GO OH SO FAST, LET`S MAKE THEM ALL LAST

(MALE VOCALIST)
ALL THINGS I GIVE TO YOU EVERYDAY
ARE JUST A SMALL PART

(FEMALE VOCALIST)
IT`S ONLY A WORD, IT`S ONLY A SOUND
JUST SAY IT TO ME, WHEN I AM AROUND
(MALE VOCALIST)
THE WORDS THAT I USE I PROMISE TO YOU
CAME RIGHT FROM MY HEART
(FEMALE VOCALIST)
IT`S EVERYDAY TALK, A NATURAL WALK
JUST OPEN YOUR HEART, WE WON`T BE APART
(MALE VOCALIST)
I`M SAYING TO YOU THAT MY TIME HAS COME
AND I WANT YOU TO KNOW RIGHT NOW
I LOVE YOU TO BITS AND AM TELLING YOU NOW SOMEHOW, SOMEHOW

(FEMALE VOCALIST)
EACH DAY I JUST FEEL, LIFE`S GOT TO BE REAL
DAYS GO OH SO FAST, LET`S MAKE THEM ALL LAST

(MALE VOCALIST)
NOW AND AGAIN ALONG COMES A DAY
TO SAY WHAT YOU FEEL
NOW AND AGAIN ALONG COMES A TIME
TO TREAT THIS AS REAL
I`M SAYING TO YOU THAT MY TIME HAS COME
AND I WANT YOU TO KNOW RIGHT NOW

I LOVE YOU TO BITS AND AM TELLING YOU NOW SOMEHOW
