It is just an upbeat, nice message of a song that would be for the contemporary Christian market.
I did the production right in my home with me on the vocals and playing the instrumentation. I was fairly happy with the result. " />
I wrote the words and music here on this song. "As For Me And My House" it is a passage from the Bible that my wife had a decorative item in our house and I thought I would use that for the song. Turns out other writers have also used this passage and title, though as is the case, I like my song best!

Basically, do you like the song or not? The lyrics are basic, and of course some directly from the Bible and others rephrasing what was said.
Thanks Brent for the feedback. I appreciate your picking up on the “big ‘ol mansion, or a tiny shack”. I always liked the phrase, and how true that the Lord doesn’t care about the size of our houses, but whether if He is welcome there or not.
Maybe someday some Christian artist might grab this one. Thanks again.

Hey, Robert! Thanks for sharing. Yes, I’m sure that title has been written a bunch. But there’s nothing legally keeping all of us from writing it, too.
I like that you went positive tempo with it. I wonder if you would be well-served to do another version of “big ‘ol mansion or a tiny shack” in the 2nd verse. Kind of keep them parallel, if you know what I mean.
I also see an opportunity to play off the “AS FOR ME” part, which is a response to what other people are doing. Maybe that’s something that could go in the verses somewhere. “Doesn’t matter what other people do, etc.”
I think the melody on the hook/title is catchy.
I hope this is helpful. Please pay it forward by leaving a comment or review on another writer’s song. Thanks!
