About This Song

Unsure of the genre. This is about loving your long distance relationship. This is a simple guitar/vocal work tape. I played the guitar and sang this song without a metronome, the timing is off a little here and there.

Feedback Requested

Is it catchy?

Hey, Ronnie!  Glad to hear your writing tempo.  In general, tempo is more commercial.  At the end of the chorus, I’d say something more positive like, “But there’s no distance between two hearts.”  “Unlike the distance…” is less of a definite statement - since you’re saying what something isn’t.  It’s just a little stronger the other way.  And I think you can beat the line “more or less a country mile apart.”  A country mile isn’t nearly far enough to keep them to just calls and emails.  It’s probably something like “miles and miles keep them apart” or something like that.

Just a thought… what if they end up physically together at the end?  That way the title opens up to a new meaning, making it fresh again.  Just a thought.

Thanks for sharing your song!

Between Two Hearts

Written by Ronnie Glenn

Between Two Hearts
(Ronnie Glenn)

She smiled as she read his words
Then she felt a sudden change
It all began with simple emails
Somehow his words lit a flame

Scared to death, been there before
That’s what they thought about that night
So many miles between them
Drawn together by love pulling tight

CHORUS
There's no distance between two hearts
There’s only time lost in conversation
Like Niagara Falls, she's falling in love
Deep in his heart it’s not infatuation
They're more or less a country mile apart
Unlike the distance…between two hearts

Each night he thanked God above
For all those blessings he receives
Over time came those phone calls
A true connection they believed

CHORUS

bridge
They say love can move any mountain
It’ll make you wanna swim that sea
All I can say is love takes time, even for you and me

CHORUS
