The Road

Another one of those demos I recorded in Europe under lockdown. One take (actually it's the 2nd take), with all my vocal and playing limitations on display. Hopefully, my songs are as basic as they get so they don't need much to get through.

A great photo by #Jesse Bowser.

Especially Trains and Rain

I didn't live this story....but I was born in the mountains. As a child, we lived in a cabin with a tin roof. A train track ran through the mountains. I'll never forget the sad sound of the train whistle blowing at the same time rain was hitting down on our tin roof..

Key to Your Heart ...

The instrumental version of a song we wrote with Peter D. Smith. I think it captures the mood of the original (not yet released) and more than stands on its own.

Neverland

A short demo recorded by my song partner Pete Smith. I have since revised the chorus a bit to fit his melody better.

Sent the title to Brent and he discussed it with Johnny on one of their podcasts.

Not sure about genre, tbh.

Killed the Analog Man 2.0

I am giving this song another shot for two reasons: I wrote an extra verse and recorded the new version with my own vocal. The new verse adds a little bit of light at the end of a long dark tunnel, which I think is good. Not crazy about the vocal.
