The idea of the song came to me when I heard that a little girl I know had been diagnosed with leukemia (she's well today). I started to think about how she felt, alone, sad and vulnerable at the hospital, a long way from home. But for me, the hospital theme was a dead-end so I decided to change it to being locked away while keeping the overall theme. Don't know if I succeeded or not. All input is welcome!
Note: A few people already commented on using "the can", saying it's a term with a rather archaic ring to it. So I'll probably change that.

This is definitely inspired by Bruce Springsteen! The song describes a relationship and how the guy ended up travelling down Loneliness Road.

A power ballad with a big build, describing a girl's desire to 'stay the night' on a first date even though it's against very nature to do so.

44 TYPES OF HAPPINESS: When I first took on the name Happy people had lots of negative responses, thinking Happiness was boring, I responded that there were lots of shades of Happiness and that it offered a rich way of living life. So i've tried to list in this song all the different shades of being happy (don't miss the extended list at the end). Did I miss any? What are your favorite ways of being happy?
